VITALIS ENERGY DRINK
Vitalis is an energy drink design, focusing on Greek mythology as an inspiration for aesthetics and themes. The design uses light colorations to break away from the stereotypical aggressive designs of other popular energy drinks. The design uses vertical columns to harken back to Greek column designs used in architecture, as well as for its main logo, a statue of the Greek god Apollo, who among many things is a god of health and vitality.
The demographic for this energy drink is for people who want or need an energy drink but also want a healthier alternative. An age range from teenager to middle age would be the audience Vitalis is trying to reach.
The design is applied in three flavors on energy drink cans, the first being “Zeus Blue” the second “Athena Berry”, and third “Apollo Lemon” The coloration of each can is determined by the flavor of each drink, and uses a Greek God or Goddess as an icon for each flavor. The main challenge with this design was coupling the classic Greek architectural aesthetics with a lighter, simple aesthetic.
